We have reached 10 years
This 2010 La Factoria reaches 10 years. A few more if we count since we started making websites, nearly at 1993, but without naming us La Factoria. Curious time when there were no Google, or Outlook, or Youtube, or Facebook, or Twitter, or any of those things that seem to have always existed. La Factoria started on a dark and damp basement having the clear understanding that we wanted to be oriented to multimedia design. We have had as fantastic fellow travelers clients/friends without whom wouldn’t be possible to be what we are now: a leader company in the interactive sector which tries not to forget his humble beginnings. La Factoria starts two "Planes Avanza"
La Factoria d'Imatges is developing two wining "Plan Avanza" projects from Spanish government. Both are projects that have stand out above the set of projects presented throughout the country thanks to their innovative character. Both of them are involved in the educational area and both can be used by profesional teachers in their classrooms. To develop them we are using the 2.0 Web concepts, using those apps, the users can co-create an co-generate interactive on-line content.
Websites who failed
CATIC Foundation has done a study about the status of the websites of Central Catalonia companies on a sample of over 800 with a turnover of more than a million per year. The results have been quite negative: only 3% of the companies make a commercial profit, 40% never update content, 84% do not have presence in social networks or environments 2.0, 75% do not know the number of visits, 70% do not have a positioning strategy, etc. La Factoria will take on account these data so as for developing the new version of his content manager system BaobabCMS.

Educational materials
La Factoria continues to participate actively in various conferences presenting “game, interactive and resources 2.0 in educational materials”. The paper focuses on the increasing level of interactivity of new educational materials, to incorporate the culture of the game and the possibilities of communities 2.0. In this regard we have begun to apply thus method in various digital books in the context of Escuela programs and EduCat 1x1. We also make our contributions to the deployment of digital educational materials, participating in working groups as Kids Cluster, Logos Net and others.
