Teachers test Make it
Two months after the authoring tool released, we started training teachers that want to use Make it, the authoring tool in their classes. Either customizing the interactive materials themselves or allowing children create their own games and stories.

Samsung has launched a new tablet, the GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, which features a user mode designed specifically for younger users, as well as a standard mode for adults. Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids comes pre-loaded with some apps that parents can select for their children to use on the device’s Kids Mode user setting, one of these pre-loaded apps is Kids Planet Discovery, an app developed by la Factoria.

Publishers tool MakerPF 3.0 released
MakerPF allows both La Factoria and MakerPF clients to maintain a steady supply of new content to their customers that would otherwise be either prohibitively expensive or very time consuming. The new version fine-tunes some of the core functions and delivers a range of improvements in image manipulation, text options, preview, audio etc.

A world of magic: Planet Fantasy
Here you have the new app for children of all ages that brings to life a magical world with all their favourite characters. With a range of new activities including tap-to-learn, dot-to-dot, dodge and catch as well as all their favourites, it also features audio descriptions for younger players.
The new Storyteller allows players to use their imagination to create their own short videos stories using their favourite characters, scenes and props.
HTML5 for educational digital content
This rapidly emerging web language is billed as the solution for ‘cross-device & cross-browser mobile-optimized portals’ or in other words, agnostic programming that works across all of the principal mobile devices and browsers: iPhone, iPad, Google Android Devices, Windows Mobile Phone and Internet Explorer, FireFox, Safari, Google Chrome or Opera without needing additional software e.g. Flash player. La Factoria is now working for three big spanish publishers desingning and developing part of its educational digital content.
